He was basically a 4-inning pitcher. From the 5th inning on he'd give up a ton of runs it seemed like. I think his problem was pitch selection......he wasn't mixing it up enough.
By struggling from the 5th inning on, it tells me that by the 3rd time through the opposing team's order, they were on to him. It's almost like they knew what was coming the third time through.
Either way, he was a headcase and he's the Atlanta Braves' headcase now. I'm thankful for that.
Goteamsgo Moderator Phils20 will tell you that at a game that him and I went to at Citizens Bank Park in 2007 (White Sox VS Phillies) Vazquez didn't pitch too well. As a matter of fact, he got outpitched by Adam freaking Eaton.
