| White Sox Prospects The champs minor league system, is good and has some decent talent down on the farm.
First, their is outfielder Chris Young. Young, batted .277 last year in Birmingham (AA) with 26 homers and 77 runs batted in. He should be in Charlotte (AAA), and could be the future centerfielder, however the one thing he has to work on, is strikeouts (145 in 2004, 129 in 2005).
If Young doesn't become the future centerfielder of the White Sox, then watch Brian Anderson. The 24-year old batted .295 in AAA, and he will compete to make the team, mainly as a backup outfielder.
Some others to watch are: outfielders--Ryan Sweeney and Jerry Owens, infielders--Josh Fields, Robert Valido, Chris Getz, Casey Rogowski and Brandon Allen, catcher-Francisco Hernandez and pitchers--Lance Broadway, Sean Tracey, Charles Haeger and Ray Liotta--no not from Goodfellas! |
