The Chicago White Sox had won eight games in a row before losing to the Angels last night.

According to the Associated Press, "The White Sox had not lost since the Angels beat them 2-0 on May 13. They took the final two games of that series to salvage a four-game split and start their longest win streak since they won nine in a row from June 15-24, 2006. But after sweeping San Francisco and Cleveland, Chicago couldn’t get much going against Saunders." Still, their recent success has got to be a real momentum builder for the ChiSox as they lead the wide-open AL Central, don't you think?

They've gone on to get another winning streak started, winning their sixth in a row by beating the Twins 12-2 on Sunday. Nick Swisher and Alexei Ramirez each homered, and for the first time since 2000, the ChiSox have scored 10 or more in three consecutive games. Looks like Ozzie's little meltdown last week paid off for this ballclub, eh?

I beleive it was john mclaren who blew up saying im tired of f***in losing and so are the fans and the players, not to long ago.
