| Chicago hires Buddy Bell According to the Associated Press, "The Chicago White Sox hired former Kansas City Royals manager Buddy Bell as the organization's director of minor league instruction on Tuesday... Bell, 56, who was hired by the Royals in May 2005, announced in August he would step down as manager to spend more time with his family." Anyone surprised by this move by Bell?  Re: Chicago hires Buddy Bell I am very surprised. I thought he wanted to spend time with his family. Maybe his wife started nagging him already to pick up his underwear and he realized he had to get out of the house.  |
