Ouch, this isn't the kind of start the defending World Series champs had in mind. Chicago's now 1-4 after losing to the Royals 4-3 yesterday. They won 16 of their first 20 games last season, but have now dropped 4 straight since beating the Tribe on Opening Day. So, what's wrong with the White Sox?

What's wrong? Nothing- they won today. Seriously though, The White Sox pitching is too good not to contend this year. It's only been a week.

That's right, I keep forgetting these early games don't count. Silly me.

In all seriousness, though, I realize that there is still plenty of time to turn it around. Yet you can't deny that there are issues with the team. Like a .236 team batting average, 6th lowest in baseball, or a rather mediocre 5.00 team ERA.

Will they improve? Sure, I have no doubt of that. But the Indians got off to a terrible April last year and it wound up costing them the Central division. I'm sure the ChiSox don't want to share the same fate.

rocky 1-4 start, but now they have won 18 of their last 22. Not bad at all!

No, that's for sure. They rebounded quite nicely from that early season swoon and are sitting somewhat comfortable atop the AL Central. Big win yesterday for the ChiSox, eh? And who's the hero? Pablo Ozuna?
