This story just keeps getting stranger and stranger. Talks between the White Sox and P Mark Buehrle have stalled and the hurler is back on the trade market. According to dailyherald.com, "While Buehrle and the White Sox had agreed on a four-year, $56 million contract extension, the deal disintegrated because the Sox won’t give the 28-year-old left-hander a full no-trade clause. In the grand scheme of things, that seems like a ludicrous deal-breaker. And surely, the Sox will budge, right?"

$14 million per year is just plain silly for Buehrle, but I guess he'd probably get that (if not more) on the open market, so for the White Sox it may be smart.

But I just don't see how he's worth that much.

After this Barry Zito disaster, I don't think anyone is going to pay him that kind of money...But you never know, I guess.

hes worth the money, for the most part his losses have come because the chi-sox offense has blew so far this year, put him on another team and see the difference, If I were the sox id give 'em what he wants..
