The White Sox sent pitcher Jeff Bajenaru to Arizona for infielder Alex Cintron.

I've only seen Cintron a handful of times in recent years as the DBacks come up on the schedule. He seems like a pretty good defenseman but nothing spectacular with the bat. However, he won't be the Rey Ordonez of hitters either. A nice little player to have on the team.

Good move...then again, I know next to nothing about Bajenaru.

This is an interesting move...I am not sure why the White Sox need him...they seem to have enough guys that can play up the middle. Gotta hand it to Kenny Williams though, he continues to stack up talent and solidify his roster.

Cintron hit .263 against RHP in 2005, where as Uribe hit .231. Adding depth plus a better bat against right handed pitching makes Ozzie look pretty good on this signing.

Cintron is a good looking young player, you simply cannot go wrong with a utility guy like that on your team. They have made nothing but improvements to an already sick team. Lookout!
