| Joe Crede signs According to AP reports, the White Sox and 3B Joe Crede have agreed to a new $4.94 million, one-year contract. Crede, 28, hit .283 last season with 30 home runs, 94 RBIs and a .978 fielding percentage in 150 games. Sounds like resigning him was a good idea, but it might've been a good idea to try and force a long term committment out of him, don't you think?

| Re: Joe Crede signs For some reason .. (Josh Fields), they don't think Crede is the best man for the job. Their plan seems to be to keep Crede at 3b next year until Fields is ready. ONce he is, I believe Crede will be traded before the deadline in 07, IF Josh Fields is ready. I really like Crede though ... he is very good defensively and is a good clutch hitter. He is a perfect example of a White Sox player. |
