The White Sox announced today they have signed OF Scott Posednik to a one-year deal worth about $2.9 million.

Posed had a bad 2006 but should bounce back next year. He has great speed and routinely is among the best basestealers in the game.

I guess that means we are not going to sign a decent Outfielder.

Anybody know how old Posednik is?

I sure hope his injuries are behind him and he can start playing like his old self again. We desperately need him and his speed.
