| Re: Not So Impressed With Buerhle No doubt Buerhle is a good pitcher and not a power pitcher...I just wouldn't not call him an elite pitcher...One thing you can say about him though is he will throw yoo +200 innings year in and year out, and get you double digit wins...add to it that he is a lefty...and you got a pitcher that teams will covet...on the negative side, he will give up a good 240 hits a year, so he is very hitteable when he does not get his groove on...and the fact he was taken in the 38th round probably means he never had top shelf pitches...

And simon... it is his best stuff because he forcedweak ground ball after weak ground ball, after pop up... it's possible to be a dominant pitcher and not get tons of K's-- and this perfect game, and his no hitter before, prove that.
