In probably the least surprising happening of the year, Mark Prior returned to the disabled list. His season if likely over as the Cubs continue to muck around as one of the worst teams this year.

Now the Cubs are in a spot where they have to start rookies in their rotation. Angel Guzman started yesterday and didn't last three innings (ouch!). Rich Hill, I'd think deserve playing time. He's one of the better pitching prospects, but his ERA this year with the big league club is over seven.

It's just amazing how much pain Kerry Wood and Mark Prior have had to endure and fight through in their careers.

It's a shame. What could have been with Prior and Wood had they not been decimated with injuries.

So do we need to down grade Prior from Fantasy Stud, to Fantasy Risk from here on out?...he is awesome when not hurt, but....and at his age this chronic injury thing can get old...
