Carlos Lee of the Milwaukee Brewers is a free agent at years end, and rumor has it that Chicago Cubs catcher Michael Barrett is really pushing the team to pursue Lee during the offseason. He has enjoyed a lot of success at Wrigley throughout the years; would Carlos Lee be a good fit for the Cubbies?

Carlos Lee is having a huge year...I think he would make a good combo with that other Great hitting Lee...Derek....Can you image them in the 3 and 4 spot in the line-up.

Why would anyone in their right mind want to go to the Cubs right now. I know... the money. The key reason for Lee's success in Wrigley is that the CUBS ARE THERE! He needs to figure out that instaed of feasting on the Cubs pitching as a visitor, if he signs with them he will miss that opportunity 19 times a year.

I've heard the Brewers are working on getting an extension done with Lee before he hits free agency. They are one of the hot young teams in the game who's ready to take a step up within the next year or two.

The Brewers would be smart to keep onto Carlos Lee. He is a great outfielder with solid numbers. He has the potential of being a MVP, and getting paid a lot of money. He has earned some incredible numbers this year, bashing 25 homeruns and 64 RBIs. I am sure that any team would be after him, if he hits free-agency.
