Cubs lead 6-1, but Lou said that is where Soriano has played his whole career and if he is hits like he should, it's the right spot for him.

The thing is that it is the complete wrong spot for him, Lou has been real bullheaded this year and this is his biggest failing as a manager IMO. Right now it should be Riot leading off with Fukudome batting second and Soriano 5th.

The Soriano, Fukudome spots are right, but why not have Reed Johnson lead off? He is hitting really well lately.

Because I am still blindly hoping that Pie turns the corner and becomes the player he is capable of, making Johnson a part-time player. I don't mind Johnson leading off though, but I still prefer Riot as he is hitting better than Johnson.
