Ronny Cedeno just belted a grand slam to put the Cubs up 8-1 over the NY Mets in the 8th inning in the second of their short two-game series.

Cedeno's first career GS is also his first home run of the 2008 season. The Cubs are well on their way to sweeping the Mets.

That was great!!! To bad for him that everyone is playing great right now and it is going to be hard to get him regular PT once Riot is 100%. Gonna have to go with a middle infield of Riot and Cedeno and keep running Derosa out there in LF until Soriano is good to go. Good problem to have though.

How about the 13 rbi's and 10 runs scored in 29 plate appearances, he's definitely rolling right now. Like I said it is tough to find at bats for him cause everyone is hitting, but they need to.
