Soriano headed to DL; Cubs call up Patterson

Eric Patterson was called up from Class AAA Iowa to provide left-handed hitting.

The Cubs don't believe Soriano will need all 15 days, but they don't want to be caught short-handed and want to give the injury extra time to heal

Might as well update this. Patterson has been sent down and Murton was called up a few days ago.
