All Hail Fukudome!!!!!

I love this guy, the Cubs are down 3-0 bottom in the bottom of the ninth, two on, no out and Kosuke Fukudome steps to the plate and jacks one out. The game is now tied 3-3.

All Hail Kosuke Fukudome!!!!

Re: All Hail Fukudome!!!!!

Kerry Wood looks good as a reliever doesn't he? And what general manager would sign Eric Gag-me to a contract after his meltdown with the Red Sox last year? It is amazing that these people have jobs.

Gange was a way bigger risk than Kerry Wood, because the Cubs have two other guys, in Carlos Marmol and Bobby Howry. But then again we saw Howry choke away the tie in the 10th.

Today, he hit 5th, but don't be shocked to see him batting 2nd sooner than later.

Very patient, smart hitter, will take pitches if they're not strikes, is willing move the runner up.

Ah, yes, I forgot the Japanese train them to be real baseball players, not free swingers like in MLB these days.

Re: All Hail Fukudome!!!!!

Guys like Bobby Howry should be closing games for teams like the Rays or Royals, not a supposed contender. And here's a bet that Soriano strikes out about 160 times this year if he gets 600 at-bats.

Safe bet...still like the kid...as I heard on player from the Islands once say...you don't walk off the Island, you got to hit your way out... so they are born to swing at everything.
