| Soriano Fractures Finger MESA, Ariz. -- Cubs outfielder Alfonso Soriano will not be able to play in Cactus League games for about five days after suffering a non-displaced fracture of the tip of his right middle finger during an early drill Sunday. Soriano was working on catching balls against the outfield wall, and he reached up to make a two-handed catch, and the ball hit his finger. He suffered a small chip in his finger. "It's not bad -- it's two or three days," Soriano said. "I'll be back." Soriano will not be able to throw or swing a bat until the swelling goes down. However, he can continue to do his cardio training. The Official Site of The Chicago Cubs: News: Soriano suffers fractured finger
