Zambrano as an everyday player

I was just looking on ESPN.com and I was looking at the stats for the cubs. Carloz Zambrano is hitting .291 with 2 homeruns, and 5 rbi's. That's not bad at all for a pitcher.

I was just thinking if Zambrano was an everyday player that played 1b or rf or something like that, what kind of numbers would he put up. It's been seen he has power and after yesterday's game of placing two hits into the gaps, we know he can hit.

At the rate he is going right now and he had about 350 at bat's, he would be averaging about he would have 101 hits, 32 rbi's, 7 2b's, and 13 hr's. I know those are not stellar numbers, but what would he be like if he had more time to focus on his hitting?

What do you guys think?

Re: Zambrano as an everyday player

He might be a pretty good everday player, but when he's doing so well as a hurler, why even consider it?

If they were in the AL I'd play him at DH but there not so put him in right field.
