After his break out year in '05 can Derrek Lee be again in the top five for batting leaders? I know its a tall order and playing for the Cubs doesn't help but do the Cubs have a true power hitter here? Was '05 a fluke or is Derrek Lee the real deal? Comments?

I don't think he'll put up numbers that good again, but he can definitely be a .300 - 40 HR - 100 RBI guy. Especially if Jones can hit well and strengthen the lineup.

It depends...is he in the last year of his contract?...If so, the man will hit...if not...its a fluke...never again...not in a million years...I am not even considering him until the 10th round of my fantasy draft... ...On a side note, during the peak of his streak I sold a bunch of his rookie cards on e-Bay...soooo...he's got that going for him...

Just for everyone's information. Derreck Lee hit a homer in WBC today. I am getting a better and better feeling about this. I am hoping that Lee can keep it going. If the Cubs can't win at least they can have a winner on their team. Go Derreck go.
