Collins turns down Bull's offer

The Bulls coach search will continue without Doug Collins.

Collins reportedly lost enthusiasm for the job as Bulls chairman Jerry Reinsdorf took time this week to reconsider the hire.

The Bulls now re-interview Jazz assistant Ty Corbin and former T-Wolves coach Dwayne Casey. They will also interview formers Piston's head man Flip Saunders and Suns' assistant GM Vinny Del Negro.

Re: Collins turns down Bull's offer

Do you Bulls fans take it as a good sign or a bad sign that this is taking so long?
I mean, are the Bulls being cautious and careful, looking for the right guy? Or are they having trouble finding a guy to fill the vacancy?

Collins was their guy from start, but he didn't want the job, then they won the lottery, and he changed his mind, but got kind of pissy at Reinsdorf, for taking so long. Paxson is taking his time because other Phoenix he is the only opening left. Expect an announcement next week.

I for one am glad this deal did not go through. Now find someone worth a damn; And not Avery Johnson!

They still can, I don't think they will, I want to see Ty Corbin as the new coach.

No such luck, bears. It's gonna be Vinny Del Negro.
