| Pax: The Bulls have not Contacted Larry Brown, or Anyone Else The Bulls have not contacted Larry Brown about their head coaching job, according to a Bulls source. A report in the Philadelphia Inquirer said Brown has drawn interest from the Bulls. John Paxson said interim coach Jim Boylan has the rest of the season to prove himself. Paxson said there is no coaching search. Brown has not coached since the 2005-06 season after being fired by the New York Knicks. Brown said today on WMVP-AM (1000) that he hasn't talked to Paxson, and he refused to talk about whether he'd be interested. ‘‘I’m not going to speculate on any job when there’s a coach involved,'' Brown said. ‘‘It’s not fair, it’s not appropriate. People know hat I’m out there and people know what I’m capable of doing.'' After Scott Skiles was fired on Dec. 24, Boylan was named interim coach for the rest of the season.
