| Blackhawks sign Robert Lang CHICAGO (AP) -The Chicago Blackhawks signed free agent center Robert Lang to a two-year contract Monday. The 36-year-old Lang played with the Detroit Red Wings last season, scoring 19 goals with 33 assists in 81 games. "Robert gives us another offensive weapon at the center position," general manager Dale Tallon said in a statement. "He is a right hand shot who will be able to help us on our power play. | Re: Blackhawks sign Robert Lang Lang drops in Chicago. Not a bad signing, I guess - he's a decent player, and Detroit will notice his absence. Chicago's been busy (Samsonov, Toews, lalime) which is good seeing as they were HORRIBLE last season - and Lang ain't no briere. |
