| Chicago signs Yanic Perreault CHICAGO (CP) - The Chicago Blackhawks have signed unrestricted free-agent centre Yanic Perreault to a US$1.5-million, one-year contract. The 36-year-old had 38 points (21-17) in 66 games last season with Phoenix and Toronto. "Perreault is a veteran forward who brings with him a lot of skill and point production," said Blackhawks GM Dale Tallon. "He is one of the best face-off men in the league and will definitely help us on our special teams - especially the power play." | Re: Chicago signs Yanic Perreault That was a big fat waste of time and money for the leafs - good luck to yanic in Chicago. he's a great faceoff man but needs more depth than that. |
