| Blackhawks sign Jonathan Toews CHICAGO (AP) -First-round draft pick Jonathan Toews signed a three-year, entry level contract with the Chicago Blackhawks on Wednesday... The 19-year-old center, a standout at North Dakota, scored two goals and added five assists for gold-medal winning Canada at this year's world junior hockey championships. Toews was one of the youngest members of the team that won the tournament the past two years.
