Peter Bondra of the Chicago Blackhawks is now a member of the 500 goal club. According to the Associated Press, "Bondra became the 37th player in league history to reach the 500-goal mark, connecting early in the third period to snap a 1-all tie and the Chicago Blackhawks defeated the Toronto Maple Leafs 3-1 on Friday night... Signed by Chicago as a free agent on Dec. 10, Bondra drove to the net and rammed a rebound of Jassen Cullimore's shot from the left point past Jean-Sebastien Aubin 5:37 into the third." Is Bondra a Hockey Hall of Famer?

I'd say, getting there. He looks older than he is. But of course, the Leafs were gracious enough to give him the 500th goal. Always generous, are the buds.

Really torn on him. He has out performered a lot of guys he came into the league with...In lifetime he has over 60 more goals than Pavel Bure...47 more than Federov, over 140 more than Owen Nolan, and only 8 less than Mats Sundin...

So, yeah, I'd find a place for him.
