Looks like Cedric Benson's starting to wear out his welcome with the Chicago Bears, at least according to this story. "What's become apparent is that Benson, the fourth overall pick in the 2005 draft, isn't a locker-room favorite with the Bears, most of whom love veteran Thomas Jones, who rushed for a career-high 1,335 yards last season," this wire service report claims. "Benson's teammates on defense made this clear when they reportedly hit Benson harder than other backs during camp, one collision resulting in a separated shoulder."

Certainly sounds like Benson hasn't made many friends within the organization. Think a trade's in his future?

Yeah, well that really helps the team...hit your own guy harder!...glad I drafted their D though...Benson still needs a chance to show what he has...Bears are crazy to trade him without finding out first.

I'd agree that a trade is a strong possibility. He hasn't shown much of anything in the NFL (granted he hasn't been healthy long enough to do so) but worse, he seems like the anti-team guy. Especially in the NFL, you shouldn't have a player like that on your team.

The Bears choice in RB's has been pretty poor over the last few years. Rashaam Sallam, Curtis Enis, and now Benson.
