According to Fox Sports, the Chicago Bears have received Jay Cutler in a trade from the Denver Broncos. The Broncos get two first round picks, a third round and quarterback Kyle Orton.(woo woo)
Denver receives Chicago's first and 3rd this year's draft, and Chicago's 1 st round in 2010.
The Bears get Cutler and the Broncos 5th round this year.

So guess the Bears have their franchise quarterback for now, and the Broncos have Kyle Orton???????????

It's about time we got a Good QB, but it cost the Bears to much in this case.

I would of never figure the Bears would give up 2 first round and a QB for a Good QB.

Now how about a Good WR to catch the ball Cutler is going to be throwing.

Now all Cutler has to do is, play football like he did with denver.

Two good draft picks more than likely doesnt give them a quarterback for this year.
Bronco fans will need to be patient though. The defense needs work. Unfortunately patience isnt a top priority in the NFL.

I'm so happy about this, the first 15 minutes were crazy for me after this trade, first I was Tom Cruise on the coach: I love Jay Cutler, I love Jerry Angelo, I love the Bears! Than I was kid who had their first Mountain Dew running around my house texting, I love this trade. I'll gladly give up Orton and the two firsts, no problems, Lady and Gentleman "Jay Cutler is our Quarterback"

This is the first time the Bears have any kind of quarterback in oh, say centuries

I am a die-hard Bears and White Sox fan (sorry about your Cubs love Bears9 LOL.) I was in shock when i found out about this. I tuned into ESPN News and my jaw dropped open and my eyes just about popped outta my head.

I can't believe that the Bears were finally bold and aggressive.....and FINALLY got what could possibly be a legit franchise QB. It's only been 7 DECADES since we've had one.

For those of you who think we overpaid look at it this way: The Bears are terrible at drafting players in the first round especially offensive players. The draft picks that they traded to Denver probably would've been wasted on players that wouldn't have amounted to anything anyway......so Denver can have them as far as I'm concerned.

Cutler

or

Kyle Orton
Aikem Nicks (thats who they'd taken)
Crappy corner they'd take next year.

The only real first rounders the Bears have got right lately is Tommie Harris and Greg Olsen everyone else they've found in the 3rd and 4th rounds, so I love this deal. I couldn't be happier, this is the best I felt about this team since going to the Super Bowl

I dont think the price was too high. Pretty risky getting what you needed in the draft as was pointed out.
Bears got what they wanted and needed. Therefore, the price wasnt too high.

No other team were willing to give up two 1st round pick and their QB for Cutler.

The Bears gave them a Deal they couldn't refuse, and they took it without a second thought.

All the other teams that was looking to get Cutler, knew the Broncos was trying to get rid of him, but without losing a Draft Pick and a QB for him.

That Deal happened so fast, ESPN never said anything about Bears surrendering two 1st Rounder for him, till it was Said and Done.

no i live in charlotte nc and dont even get the chance to go to panthers games

why wait till 2010? the bears almost won the division last year, they could do it this year!
