| Re: Bears offensive woes According to this story, the Bears had the 31st-ranked passing offense in 2005, and it doesn't look like the situation is going to improve. The author seems to disagree with Rex Grossman being named the starter over Brian Griese and Kyle Orton, claiming that "By breaking a finger, an ankle and blowing out a knee in his first three seasons and seven pro starts, Grossman makes journeyman signalcaller Rob Johnson look durable. Regardless of how Grossman performs, depth is no longer a major concern, with both Griese and Orton now in the mix." He also mentions a second major issue with the Bears passing attack, "a lack of talent at wide receiver" and calls the running game "lone bright spot on offense."
What do you think of the writer's analysis? Do you agree that either Griese or Orton should start over Grossman?
