| Re: Bears agree to contract extension with RB Peterson Peterson, 26, was the team's second-leading rusher last season, gaining 391 yards on 76 carries. He scored two touchdowns and added seven catches for 48 yards, making it his career-best offensive season. Peterson played in all 16 games, plus the postseason, and ranked third on the team with 18 special teams tackles.
Chicago selected the Georgia Southern product in the sixth round of the 2002 NFL draft. I didn't know that Peterson doubled up on special teams last year...interesting use of the running back....tough kid to go do special teams and get 18 tackles while at it. |
