Grossman focused on improving his game

LAKE FOREST, Ill. – Rex Grossman won’t enter training camp as the Bears’ definitive No. 1 quarterback for the first time in five years. But he isn’t dwelling on his competition with Kyle Orton for the starting job.

“I’m not focused on that part of it right now,” Grossman said during the Bears’ weekend minicamp at Halas Hall. “I’m just focused on me getting better.

“There’s nothing specific. I need to get better in all areas of the game. Just building on experience is a big thing. I’ve played 30-some games right now. I’ve got a lot of tape to watch. I’ll build on what I’ve done pretty well and just learn from the mistakes as well.”

Unlike previous seasons when he took all the snaps with the No. 1 offense, Grossman is splitting practice reps with Orton. But the former Florida star doesn’t think that will hurt his performance.

“I’ve been here,” said the 2003 first-round draft pick. “This is my sixth year. I’ve had plenty of practice reps. I know I’m going to get a lot.

Dont think he ever will vince. He keeps doing the same thing over and over. Throwing interceptions.
Remember the first year he got hurt and Lovie had failed to have a decent backup? Lovie keeps making the same mistake over and over also.

You make it sound like Lovie is one of those women that continues to have bad relationships. Maybe he needs a self help book. Do they have one for bad quarterbacks, and the coaches who love them?
