| Bears release Archuleta The Bears on Tuesday released Adam Archuleta The Bears acquired Archuleta from the Washington Redskins on March 22, 2007 in exchange for a sixth-round draft pick. The 5-11, 215-pounder had been benched by the Redskins midway through the 2006 season after signing the richest free-agent contract by a safety in NFL history. With the Bears, Archuleta struggled in run support and pass coverage. He broke his hand in a Week 3 loss to the Dallas Cowboys, sat out one game, and then returned the following week. He eventually lost his starting job in late November to Brandon McGowan. Archuleta released - Chicago Bears

| Re: Bears release Archuleta I don't know what the deal is, but after hearing the bears releasing archuleta, it surprise me, Why pick him up if he wasn't doing good for the other team in the first place. They made another big mistake when they signed Brandon LLoyd another Looser. Bad Decision and Big Mistake=No Playoff Appearence. Bad decision and big mistake one after another. I hate to say but Brian Urlacher will never get his superbowl ring that he wanted, not with the bears anyway. I can almost guarantee the bears will never see another superbowl title for a very long time, well heck i bet the steelers or cowboys will get another superbowl championship or 2, way before the bears will ever get their second one. |
