The Chicago Bears need a tailback, right? So if Seattle cuts Shawn Alexander, what about signing him as a 1-2 year stopgap?

With the injuries he's suffered his numbers over the last couple of years have been down. He could possibly work out but they'd be better off shopping around a bit.

It wouldn't be my favorite move, I would've gone out and got a younger back like Turner or Julius Jones, but it couldn't hurt the situation.

I think he would definitely be an upgrade, as long as he would do it for free, it would be great, cuz we still have to pay Benson, no matter how bad he is, and we need help at just about every other position too.

Yep, I agree. Although Benson at least as the benefit of being young. Even if he's not any good whatsoever.

Naw, I don't see that either Goth, they are both physical goal line backs. If you are going to use a tandem, the other has to be like Felix Jones or Rashad Mendenhall.

Right now here is what the Bears are like, the Bears are like a guy who has two girls asking him out for night. But both of those girls are incredibly ugly and unappealing.

The Bears have to get a running back, whether it's in the draft or Shaun Alexander they need a running back.
