| Bears Give Desmond Clark Two-Year Exstention ![]() INDIANAPOLIS – One day after finalizing a one-year contract with quarterback Rex Grossman, the Bears on Sunday agreed to a two-year extension with tight end Desmond Clark through 2010. In five seasons with the Bears, Clark has caught 181 passes for 2,115 yards and 15 TDs. He originally signed with Chicago as a free agent after spending his first four NFL seasons with the Denver Broncos (1999-2001) and Miami Dolphins (2002). Clark, who was slated to become an unrestricted free agent following the 2008 season, ranked third on the Bears in 2007 with 44 receptions for 545 yards and 4 TDs. His 44 catches tied for the third most in his career and his 545 yards and 4 TDs were both third most.
