| Bears Cut Muhammad The Bears started their offseason movement by doing some one-stop shopping today with Joel Segal. Gone is wide receiver Muhsin Muhammad. Muhammad was viewed as a potential offseason casuality and was owed a $500,000 roster bonus on March 4. The veteran turns 35 in May and the 12-year veteran had just 40 receptions for 570 yards and three touchdowns last season. Most viewed the $30 million, six-year deal he signed in 2004 as a three-year deal anyway, and he was to earn $1.6 million this coming season.
