QBs posted Big Numbers

LAKE FOREST, Ill. – Bears quarterbacks Brian Griese, Rex Grossman and Kyle Orton combined to throw for 3,701 gross passing yards and 3,362 net yards in 2007, the third highest totals in both categories in franchise history.
Four of the Bears’ six highest net passing totals have come during Ron Turner’s two stints as offensive coordinator (1993-96; 2005-07). The Bears set team passing records in 1999 with 4,352 gross yards and 4,136 net yards.

From Week 4 through the rest of the season, the Bears produced 25 completions of at least 25 yards, which tied for third most in the NFL behind only New England (31) and Green Bay (30).
Eight different receivers hauled in 25-plus-yard catches during that span. Griese led the team with 13 such pass plays during that stretch, while Grossman registered nine (10 total) and Orton had three.
In a Week 6 loss to the Vikings, Griese hit five different receivers on 25-plus-yard pass plays, the most by a Bears quarterback since Nov. 21, 1999 when Jim Miller had six in an overtime win at San Diego.
For the season, Bernard Berrian and Desmond Clark tied for the team lead with six receptions of 25-plus yards. The six other Bears with 25-plus-yard receptions were Muhsin Muhammad (4), Adrian Peterson (3), Devin Hester (2), Greg Olsen (2), Garrett Wolfe (2) and Rashied Davis (1).
Six different players had at least 200 receiving yards on the season—Berrian, Muhammad, Clark, Peterson, Olsen and Hester—the most since the Bears also had six in 2000. Chicago also had seven different players catch a TD pass, the most since the 2002 squad also had seven.
The Bears passed for at least 250 yards in six games in 2007, the most since they had eight such games in 1999. Griese had four such contests despite playing in just seven games. Grossman had two 250-plus-yard games after recording seven in 2006. The Bears also had three 300-yard passing games in 2007, the most since they had six in 1999.

Re: QBs posted Big Numbers

Think they will take a QB with their first pick and if so, who?

If Ryan, Brohm or Woodson slip to them yes they will take a QB but if those three aren't there you could be looking at QB in round two or three.
