Re: Bears @ Vikings MNF Well Minnesota is just about everyones favorite dark horse now. The team that everyone better watch out for. This game points to Minnesota all the way but I think Orton will come out and play not lose the game. Short passes mixed in with a little run. Big game for the Bears TE's imo. I took Washington last week, I will not take Minnesota this week.

Re: Bears @ Vikings MNF I would really like to predict a Bears win. This is Kile Orton's first start in a couple of years, he didn't do much to win, or loose the games when he was in, the team was on auto pilot, with Thomas Jones at running back, and a much, much better defense. It will be interesting to see what he can do now. On the plus side, he isn't a rookie, on the minus side he doesn't have Thomas Jones to hand the ball off to. One of the very few bright sides of the last Bears game, the one that ended any doubt that we were going to the playoffs, was Garret Wolf looked a lot better. The Vikings are among the best at stopping the run, but I predict we will see a lot of Garret Wolf Monday night. Also I get to see Adrian Peterson, the one from the Vikings run all over the field, so even if the Bears loose, at least there will be some entertainment.

Let's hope that will be the case for Orton Monday night. Samething Denny said, he's played a little and he's been learning and watching most of the time. At least I hope. I don't agree with the T. Jones thing. He's been the Jets #1 starter and I think he's had 1 game 100yd's or better, and maybe 1 TD all season. The Bears need to find a RB. I like Wolf as the change up back but the Bears need a solid starter. I think they have to cut ties with AP and Benson after this season so they can go after a back if there is one out there. |

Re: Bears @ Vikings MNF I hope I'm wrong, but with no offensive line, no great running game, and receivers that drop the ball, as often as they catch it, to help him out, his First start, in the Metro dome, is not going to be pretty. Vikings are favored by 10? points. I think it will be a bigger points difference than the Jets/Patriots game, but like the Pundit said, "Now the Vikings have been anointed, they will probably loose". Hope that's true. I don't want to see Adrian Peterson go anywhere, he has done a great job on special teams for years, he just obviously isn't a premier running back.

Re: Bears @ Vikings MNF So called good / great backs find ways to get it done. I'm not a Jets fan, so I don't know a lot about there O-Line, but I see that Washington guy running pretty well for them when he gets a chance. I saw him run yesterday and my Nephew said was that T. Jones? I said no, Jones is not that fast. I always thought T.Jones was overrated and still do. At the time though I thought the Bears got screwed in the trade with the Jets. Looking back, I think the Bears might have gotten the better end of the deal.
