Time for a change Going into the bye week, I think it's a good time for the Bears to put Rex back as the starting QB. I didn't see the game but I got a lot of updates on the game while driving back home. 4 INT's for Griese? And from what I heard 2 were in the endzone. Griese again is throwing for 40 times a game or better. In a 16 to 7 game that should tell you the passing game is not working. Griese goes from hero to zero every week. Give Rex 3,4 games out of the bye and see where the team is at. If Rex doesn't do well in those games bring Brian back in to finish out the season because he is signed till 2010. After the Bears draft another QB, Brian can compete for the starting job next year. In Griese's defense, where is the running game at today? Benson, 13 rushing Att.? Come on.

Re: Time for a change What has Griese done better than Rex, nothing imo. He throws int's and fumbles the ball. Griese is signed through 2010, he's not going anywhere. I think it is time to bring back Rex now like I said and see what happens for about three weeks then decide what you are going to do. As far as the season being over, it's closer than you think.

Re: Time for a change I never wanted to see Rex go, in the first place, this team has big problems besides the quarterback, so I'm not surprised that Greise failed too. They might as well give Orton a shot at it.

Re: Time for a change Maybe the Bears will make a play for Clev QB D. Anderson. He will be a RFA, but I don't think the Browns can keep Anderson and Quinn. Kind of like the Drew Brees, Phillip Rivers thing in S.D. One of thoses guys has to go, and I don't think it will be Quinn. To be honest I don't think Orton is the anwser either.
