| Fire Ron Turner!! One guy I am losing my patience with is Bear's offense coordinator Ron Turner. Benson was going great yesterday versus the Vikings and then he stopped giving Benson the ball. He tried to go all out with Rex Grossman and Rex couldn't handle it. So they bring in Brian Greise and he changes the offense to 5-10 dump passes. Anyone agree?

Re: Fire Ron Turner!! There is the post I was waiting for, fire Ron Turner! Again, I did not see the game, but there is no doubt it will be one of the NFL replay games of the week. Why this team gets away from running the ball is beyond me. Throwing the ball 40+ times against a team that you should grind it out against. The defense doesn't get a pass here either, Babich has got to be called out as well. And D. Manning should be on the bench. You can go all the way back to the Dallas game though and find Ron Turners name under thoses losses, what has he been doing this year getting stoned up in the press box? When you look at the stats and stuff you see that it was special teams that got the first score from Hester. Then Berrian was so wide open me or you could have compleated that pass for a TD. In other words, it wasn't Turners play calling that put 14 points on the board. After the Berrian TD early in the 2nd QT the Bears can only come up with a FG from that point untill midway in the 4th QT. Then they went on to score 2 TD to tie the game. And the Bears keep saying we got to get Hester the ball. Outside of the KO and punt returns Hester has 1 russing att. for -3 yards and 1 catch for 81 yards and a TD. You may be able to tell me more B9. When Hester ran back the 1st punt did Minnesota continue to kick to him? If not than that's proof too me that the Bears can't use the excusse that Hester is tired from running back kicks that's why they can't get him into the game more. Well, if he's fair catching the ball and teams are kicking away from him, how freaking tired can he be!?!? Now we have to go to Philly and try to win there. If the Bears lose in Philly I want to see Rex back at QB.

Re: Fire Ron Turner!! Fine by me. The first three games of the season his "plan" was to have our defense on the field as much as possible. What defense that isn't totally disabled, isn't playing at 100 percent. Our offense right now is good, and getting better, but I hold a grudge a long time, fire him, or at the very least, invite him to a blanket party.

Re: Fire Ron Turner!! I just want to say, I'm sorry for my last post on this thread. Advocating throwing a blanket over Turner, and all the defense beating the crap out of him, was wrong. I felt bad all day about it, and just couldn't wait to apologize for it, then I realized, the defense would have to catch him first.

Re: Fire Ron Turner!! You are right B9, they brought him in last year when they were down on the goal line, why not this year? It's sad too say but it looks like when it comes to #1 draft picks the Bears don't know what they are doing. That's going all the way back to Cade McNown, and maybe even before that.

Re: Fire Ron Turner!! What is killing them imo is that they can't run the ball, or they don't run the ball. There is no way the defense can be out there as much as they are and expect to win games. Add Benson to the list of bad 1st round draft picks. I thought he was going to breakout this season, not breakdown.

Re: Fire Ron Turner!! I remember the frustration of last season. The defense on the field for most of the game. The defensive players dropping like flies. Yelling at the TV, run the dam ball. The sad truth was the Bears could not run the ball. So Ron Turner, I apologize, you only had so much to work with. So have the Bears addressed the running game enough? I was expecting sweeping changes to the offensive line.
