Bears vs. Vikings

After last week's so called upset over the Packers the 2-3 Chicago Bears come to face the 1-3 Minnesota Vikings. The Vikings are coming off a bye week. The Bears will look to keep the offense they had going vs the Packers going at home vs. Minnesota. The Viking will try to keep the not losing that they had during the bye week going.

Re: Bears vs. Vikings

It sounds like Tavaris will be back, but at what level will he play? Sure wouldn't mind trading Adrian Petersons with them. Best thing about this game is it's a home game, someone always gets hurt, usually a knee going sideways, when we play in the Metro dome. As Ditka said, it should be made into a roller rink. We play there in December, just in time to loose someone important for the playoffs. I think the Bears are going to win this one.

Re: Bears vs. Vikings

Lat week I got my wish, and the Bears finally decided to run the ball. Now I want to see more passing. Specifically, you know when Benson tries to go to the outside, and every dammed time he gets zero yards? Maybe he could pass the ball. Not asking for a 50 yard bomb, just 5, or 10 yards. Tried googling Cedric Benson passing attempts, to see if he ever did throw, and I couldn't find anything.

Re: Bears vs. Vikings

It was a nice win last week but to be honest, I wasn't all that impressed with the win. I didn't see anything in Griese that really stood out, but I hope that will change this week against (imo) a weak Minnesota team.

I wasn't impressed either but they just won baby, as far Greise goes he didn't lose the game that is good enough

I think if they ran the same amount of running/passing plays, and Rex was the quarterback, it would of been a lot more impressive.

Why in the world are there still people kicking to Hester? Someone explain that one to me, please!

Re: Bears vs. Vikings

The Bears have made AP a household name today. Not the Bears AP either, Minnesotas AP. How bad is that D today? Again Turner gets away from running the ball, and Griese is in another duck shoot. I would give Griese 1 more week. If the games continue to go like they are I would bring Rex back in week 8.

Re: Bears vs. Vikings

That game made me sick!!!!!!!!!! They can hold LT and LJ to close to nothing on the ground but you can't stop a rookie!!!!! Peterson is good but Urlacher and Briggs should be able to stop him or at least hold him under 150 yards.
I can take losing in Sand Diego. I can take losing versus to Dallas. I can even take losing in Detroit when the whole defense is hurt, But the Vikings!!!!! I can't handle that!!!! They have hurt rookie QB can you can't stop them!!!! I'm pissed.
That was a great pass to Hester at the end of the game but why couldn't they run it earlier if it was in the playbook? Get the ball to Hester as much as possible. Then there was Cedric Benson. He was running great in the 1st Quarter. Then they wouldn't give him the ball in the 2nd!!!! Ron Turner has to go, he can't run this offense at all.
Urlacher was awful he couldn't tackle the rookie running back. Plus he hasn't been spectacular all year. They have no safeties, Archuleta, Daniel Manning, and McGowan are all 2nd rate, They have problems when the secondary can't tackle. Briggs was very good again. He has been great this year when the other Linebackers were none existent. But the Bears are awful.

I think the defense is still hurt. Tommy Harris is in the game, but he is at 50% or so. Word is that Urlacher has a bad back.

Well if they are healthy enough to play then need to produce, if they are too hurt to produce then they shouldn't play.
