Bears free safety Mike Brown came up lame making in yesterday's game vs. San Diego. The report on this injury is it a sprained knee and he is questionable for Sunday's home opener vs. Kansas City. Brown sat out 11 games and the playoffs last year with a broken bone in his foot. Besides Brian Urlacher Mike Brown is by far the most important part of the defense. Last year's starting free safety Daniel Manning or Brandon McGowan will likely start if Brown is out. So how big is this ? I think it is huge what about you

Mike Brown is done for the year along with Dvoracek. I bet the Bears wish they would have re-signed Ian Scott, but hey. Tank Johnson is still out there. That was a hell of a game by Brown yesterday, he's going to be missed. I doubt the Bears will bring him back next year.
