Good pass rushing D-ends, who are going to get to the QB, and a pretty soild DT in Tommy Harris.

I'll tell you what it is. The public, Vegas, and the media are banking on Grossman to lose the game. Boy, are they going to be sorry.

I dont know where you two Bears fans keep getting that the Bears defense (or even offense) gets no respect. The Bears defense has always been awesome, and the offense has some good players too. Just not Rex Grossman (unless he proves diff this year) .

Personally, I think the Bears are going to miss Thomas Jones too much, and that there offense will not be even as good as last year. So there!

Yes, it is game day and here are my thoughts on how I see it breaking down. brother VS. brother, Ron VS. Norv. This alone I think is a good match up. Two guy's that love offense facing two good defense's who's going to have the better game plan.

Is Ron Rivera going to be a factor in this game? He knows the defense and the offense. Yes he will, he'll be a factor in S.D being 0 - 1 at the end of the day. Two seasons ago against the Panthers the Bears beat them early in the season, and pretty good at that. When the playoffs came around he never changed the defensive scheme which imo lead the Panthers to the win that game, and I feel that Rivera was the reason the Bears lost that game. He later said that he didn't like to run the Tampa 2 defense and S.D doesn't run that style of D. So maybe we'll see Rivera's version of the 46D today.

99% of the game though falls on the players, and when you look at them there is no doubt that they both have real good defense's. So I think where you have to look is on the offense.

As they say it all starts up front. Who has the better O-Line? I gotta give it to the Bears. Who's going to get the pressure on the QB is going to be a BIG factor!

QB, Seeing that it's the first week and both are going up against good defense's, I have to call it even.

WR, Bears.

RB, Bears. Just kidding, S.D.

TE, even. Clark is just as much a threat to catch the ball as Gates.

ST, the kicking, and the return game you also have to give to Chicago imo.

I think Chicago wins this one 23 - 20, if they don't win, I don't feel that they will lose by more than 7. I know I'm all over the place, but I got so much going on. I gotta go across town to meet up with a bunch of Bear fans for the game, all my last second fantasy stuff, and BSing and all that other stuff. If I don't get a chance to get back on with you all, you all have a GREAT day, and I hope your teams win as long as they are not playing mine.LOL!!!
