Chicago Bears wide receiver and return specialist Devin Hester left in the first quarter of Saturday's preseason game with a shoulder injury. Hester had a 29-yard punt return to put the ball on the Chicago 49, but left several plays later, when he was injured trying to block. He stayed down for a few minutes, then jogged to the sideline. With Muhsin Muhammad being held out, Hester started at wide receiver.

Big risk on offense if you are going to make him block...then again...nothing is more dangerous than having your head up waiting for a punt and getting nailed.

With his added role, his body's going to wear out faster and he becomes more of an injury risk. That's only natural.

See, I would worry about that...didn't they do that with Dante?...and Billy White Shoes Johnson?...maybe they are better off having a one of a kind specialist...he sure altered a lot of games last year.
