| Take a deep breath It's all going to be OK. Remember they made it to the Superbowl last year. Not many posts on here, actually none, since the game against Indy. They won the game. They were leading when the starters were in. I think everyone was stunned by Rex's multiple fumbles/interception. It's all going to be OK. |

you guys have an anti Bears bias if they looked great the response would have been: Oh it is just a preseason game |

| Re: Take a deep breath No bias - read my posts. Anytime a team struggles in the preseason, especially one coming off the success the Bears enjoyed last year, I start to wonder. Like the Ravens running game. I think they might be in trouble with McGahee. And the Steelers haven't exactly inspired confidence either.

| Re: Take a deep breath In the game against Houston I thought Rex forced a few balls, and he didn't look too hot against Indy. I hope he turns it around, or I'm going to be eating a lot of crow around here. |

| Re: Take a deep breath They looked pretty dam good last night. Yes, the 49ers didn't have Frank Gore, but we didn't have Thomas Jones. Do you think the running game was bad on purpose? Just to give Rex a week off, while everyone *****es about Benson. |

I agree with Lefty. Although I dont think you have to go back that far to find a Super Bowl team that really struggled the following year.

| Re: Take a deep breath Probably not. The Ravens, post Super Bowl, with Elvis Grbac at QB were pretty bad. That Giants team sticks out to me because that's the first time I recall the discussion of off the field stuff - post-Super Bowl publicity appearances, writing books, etc. - getting blamed for a team not being physically or mentally ready come next season. |
