Blaming Muhammad for the woes of the Bears passing game is crazy. Sure, is numbers were pretty poor. The team's passing attack as a whole suffered last year without a strong starting quarterback. Perhaps the team could use some more skill players around him, but I think its safe to say that 2005 was more an abberation and less a sign of things to come.

Muhammad did drop some very catchable balls last season, but he is hardly a reason for the Bears' offensive woes. I am hoping he has a couple good years left in him. A big plus this coming season is that the Bears signed a quality veteran QB, Griese, to back up Grossman.

Watching the long line of pathetic QBs has been a bigger source of frustration than anything at the WR position.
