Hester being moving to Offense

Lovie Smith has announce that hres moving is moving CB /return man to Offense at mini camp he will work with the WRs but will most likely play in the back feild on pitches ,swing passes , plays weres motions out of the back feild like Reggie Bush

If you are gonna move him, better open up the playbook some...you got to isolate the guy to take advantage of his moves...

...and Deion Sanders did not exactly make it big on O, though he was a gifted return man...

Re: Hester being moving to Offense

"I think Devin Hester is one of the most exciting players in the NFL with his hands on the football," Bears coach Lovie Smith told ChicagoBears.com yesterday. "I think he would be an excellent defensive back, also. We just feel that this is in the best interest of us and him for him to achieve his full potential as a football player."

"Right now we're not going to put any limits on it. We have a new piece to the puzzle. We're anxious to see what we can do with him and the role that he'll develop into... There are a lot of different ways we can go. You can make a case for him being a slot receiver. You can make a case for him being a single receiver when we go to our two-tight end, two-running back packages. You can make a case for him from the running back position."

Don't know about you guys, but that definitely sounds like they plan to open up the playbook to me. This will be an interesting experiment to watch.
