INDIANAPOLIS - Emery Moorehead says blood trumps team loyalty _ barely. Moorehead won a Super Bowl ring as a tight end for the 1985 Chicago Bears. More than two decades later, son Aaron Moorehead will seek his own ring when his Indianapolis Colts face the Bears on Feb. 4 in Miami.
"I'm pulling for my son," said Emery, a Chicago-area real estate agent. "I want him to win a Super Bowl. For him to have a Super Bowl ring and for me to have one, that's pretty rare.
"My heart's with the Bears, but I'm sticking with the Colts."
Aaron Moorehead, however, questioned his father's allegiances.
"Don't believe him," he said. "I think he's undecided right now. I've seen a couple of things he's done in Chicago and a couple of things he's done in Indy, and I would definitely say he's playing both sides of the fence."
