Tank Johnson will play in Super Bowl

According to the Associated Press, "Chicago Bears defensive tackle Tank Johnson will play in the Super Bowl -- with court approval and a warning from a judge to stay out of trouble... Cook County Judge John Moran granted a defense request Tuesday to allow Johnson to leave the state as he awaits trial on gun possession charges. The Bears will play the Indianapolis Colts in the Super Bowl in Miami on Feb. 4."

So the Bears won't be without both DTs for the big game. I bet Bears fans are happy to hear this news, eh?

Believe it or not, the Bears defensive tackles are going to play a pretty big role in deciding the outcome of the Super Bowl.

If the interior of the offensive line can gain footing and knock the defensive tackles back, the running game opens up for Addai and Rhodes. Once more defenders are committed to stopping the run, the middle opens up for Dallas Clark, then eventually the outside for Reggie Wayne and Marvin Harrison. They need to hit upfield gaps hard. If the Colts can successfully establish the run, the Bears will be in for a long day.
