Cool Grossman "unprepared"?

WCG of Windy City Gridiron blog writes something I wish I knew before I took the Bears in my pick the points pool and lost my 1 game season lead going into that last game.
Quote:
After the Packers loss, Grossman said he did not prepare properly. The game meant nothing and he didn't put his all into it.
But he's been better in practice:
Quote:
''He came out today and threw the ball like he never threw a pick,'' wide receiver Muhsin Muhammad said. ''I've got the same confidence I had in him when he had some bad games earlier. He went on a stretch where he was playing really well, had another bad game. If you follow the trends, he should be able to come back with some good games.''

Re: Grossman "unprepared"?

I don't trust Grossman but I think Lovie Smith has to. Run the ball as much as you can is my advice and I think that'll be the game plan.

Cool Re: Grossman "unprepared"?

They should throw deep early and at least stretch the field so the opposing D-backs can't jump his routs and it might open the running game up, also.

Re: Grossman "unprepared"?

If you notice, Grossman rarely runs to the left or right whenever the ball is snapped (unless he's being chased out of bounds). He makes me EXTREMELY nervous whenever runs straight back 20 yards before throwing the ball.

Nervous enough not to play him?...I personally like the kid from Purdue better...had a rough rookie season...but I like him over Rex...

Re: Grossman "unprepared"?

Let him start the game to see how he's going to perform. If he starts out well then let him go. If he starts with the interceptions and fumbles, then I would prefer that they go with Kyle Orton as well. But the way Lovee is defending Grossman there is no way he will put Orton in on a Championship game. Maybe next year we will see some action out of Orton.
