The buck stops in the Meadowlands and I am not referencing to the Giants.

I don't agree, if the Cards can get that close to beating the Bears then anyone has a chance. The Bears are very lucky that their defense stepped up in the second half because Urlacher and Briggs missed quite a few tackles in the first half and Grossman was, well, GROSS...dang when he sucks, he really SUCKS!!! Why Green didn't stick with passing when it was quite obvious that Edge's 1.5 average yards wasn't getting the job done is beyond me, but they deserved to lose AGAIN..Green fired the wrong guy, he should have walked himself out the door instead of throwing his OC under the bus.

Re: Chicago 16-0

To compare this Bears team to the 86 squad like some are doing, is a joke. You couldn't even keep a straight face long enough to compare the two offenses, never mind the defenses. They will not run the table, Giants and Patriots will both beat them.

Re: Chicago 16-0

I hope Miami is the team to ruin a perfect Bears season for the second time.

Bears fans.... Your QB looked liked Daunte Culpepper on Monday....

Yeah, well... that post was written before the Bears almost complete collapse on Monday night. Never saw that coming. So I reserve the right to change my mind.

The Bears team that started the season? No one could beat them. They one that showed up against the Cardinals? They really should already have a loss. Yeah, if the Bears continue to play like that, they won't just taste defeat once in 2006 -- it'll be 2 or 3 times, at least.

That's the way alot of fans think though, the Bears fans along with the media were already screaming 16-0 and 1985 after the 4th win, the season is a tad longer then that, I would think that people learned last season when the Colts were supposed to go undefeated. A loss or 2 even 3 isn't a bad thing, you can in some divisions lost 5 or 6, it all depends on who's day it is on Superbowl Sunday, not 16-0 during the season.

Cool Re: Chicago 16-0

I have to disagree with you there Franchise. No way they win all 3 in a row on the road against the Jets Giants and Pats.

Re: Chicago 16-0

Im gonna go out on a limb....and say the Bears get past the Pats, Giants, and Jets....but the St Louis Rams bring them down! I like the way the rams are playing this year and it seems as though something weird is going to happen to ruin the Bears perfect chances

Re: Chicago 16-0

I like the Rams a bit.

The Rams are one of those teams who could unexpectantly take down a top team without any explanations. For example, the Rams could beat the Colts but lose to the Lions. It makes no sense but that is called football!

Well, its only natural to start drawing up "What If?" scenarios when a team is a dominant as the Bears were for the first month. We were all wondering, are they good enough to win out the entire season? Then they come crashing down to Earth, laying that egg against the Cards. But the funny thing is, as poorly as they played (especially on offense), they still found a way to win the game. So I'm not writing off their chances to go unbeaten just yet -- but it will be interesting which Chicago team shows up in the weeks to come.

Re: Chicago 16-0

Everyone is acting like they already have 12 win or something.....

It's not like it's rare for a team to be undefeated at this point but this seems to happen every year.

The chances of a team that looked as bad as Chicago did Monday night going 16-0 are not very good. I think a team might show that can outscore the Bears DEFENSE..... LOOKED GROSS MAN
