Re: Bears vs Bills

Hey, welcome to GoTeamsGo, urlacherfan -- gee, I wonder who your favorite player is.

21-3 sounds like a solid prediction. Losman and McGahee have been playing pretty well, and the Buffalo receivers are coming together nicely. Any doubt at all that your defense, good as it is, is going to be able to keep these guys out of the end zone for 60 minutes? And is Rex Grossman for real?

I do think that the Bears defense will be able to keep them out of the end zone. Our red zone defense has been tough to beat. The statistics speak for themselves. I do think Rex is for real also. I had my doubts in the preseason, but he has stepped up and proven he can make the plays and get the scores offensively.

Re: Bears vs Bills - Jauron returns to Chicago

When Dick Jauron, who was the 2001 NFL Coach of the Year while with the Bears, was fired in 2003, he said, "I hope to be back in this city at some time, working for somebody else. That's my goal and my ambition." Mission accomplished, coach. Jauron will be mighty eager to try and whip the Bears, but I don't think they have the horses to do it. As urlacherfan said, this will probably be a 21-3 Chicago win. Maybe 24-3.

Cool Re: Bears vs Bills

This game will be closer than many think. After Chicago's big win against Seattle, they might just fall asleep in this game. Chicago 21 Buffalo 20

Welcome Urlacher fan...see if you can visit that other post we have where someone is comparing Singletary to Urlacher...like to see a little more support for my boy Urlacher...

Though I am not sold on Rex just yet.

My fantasy teams makes me torn on this one, I got the Bears D, but Mcghee...

So I say 21-7 Bears with Mcghee getting 115 total yards and a score.

Re: Bears vs Bills

Whoa, t-bone, think Chicago can pitch the shutout, eh? Even though Losman and McGahee are playing well for Buffalo? Sure, that Chicago defense is damn good, but I'd be surprised if they managed to hold the Bills scoreless. What makes you so confident? Oh, and welcome to GoTeamsGo!

Re: Bears 40, Bills 7

Huge win for the Bears. What a dominating performance from that Chicago offense. Stat of the day, here - Chicago has scored 156 points on the season. They've only allowed 36. Mike Greenberg today said that if the NFL used the BCS, Chicago would be #1 and there would be no #2, because the Bears are THAT much better than the rest of the NFL right now. Can they keep this up?

A reasonable assumption that the Bears would just not show up yet still have enough talent to squeak by the Bills but that scenario was for the Titans/Colts. The Bears didn't have much problem mopping up the field with the Bills yesterday. I think it's pretty much a fair assumption that the Chicago Bears look like the best team in the NFL 1/4 of the way through the season. Imagine all the lucky guys who picked Rex Grossman in their fantasy football league!
